Meet the Founder
My name is Lawry Miller, and I founded Mission Finance Australia with a simple yet powerful vision: to help fund Christian missions worldwide through ethical and purpose-driven finance. By integrating faith with financial services, we enable believers to make a tangible impact for the Kingdom through their everyday lending decisions.
I hold a Bachelor in Biblical Studies from Harvest Bible College (now Alphacrucis University College). While I initially trained to be a pastor and missionary, it became clear that this was not God’s plan for me.
In 2023, as I approached the final stages of completing my Master of Business Administration (MBA)—something I felt God had impressed upon me to pursue four years earlier—I once again felt the Spirit of God reveal that my true calling was about to unfold. This calling required time spent in the corporate world, particularly within financial services.
Mission Finance Australia was founded in response to that calling, enabling Christians to financially support missions through their lending decisions. Whether it's a home loan, business loan, car loan, personal loan, or commercial finance, 70% of the revenue earned from arranging the loan is directed to the mission organisation of the client’s choice, while the remaining 30% covers administration costs.
Through this model, we are transforming everyday financial decisions into Kingdom impact, ensuring that mission work continues to flourish worldwide.
